Can I ask where? Looking at maps it does not look like there is any possible place at all on the Gold Coast for such a terminal to be built.

 

Bear in mind any terminal would have to have main road access for coaches, replenishment trucks, waste trucks, service vehicles, access for fuelling being by land or sea. There are a lot of variables to consider when building a terminal. You cant just slap it anywhere and realise no one can get to it by car or foot.

With a reality check to that article the area is probably too shallow anyway to even consider it. Not to mention the curved inlet makes it next to impossible.
