Where to go with 15 month old?

I have been to Cozumel before, 8 years ago on my first cruise, and really don't remember too much. This time we will be taking our 15 month old so would like a nice sandy beach with some amenities, and water that is safe to swim in. Grand parents (active, mid 60s), aunt and uncle (active, late 20s) will be joining us, and DH loves to snorkel.

 

I have been reading up on the beach clubs on trip advisor but they all seem to have mixed reviews... What would you suggest?

Chankanaab has a nice beach plus good facilities and a separate lagoon for snorkeling - but it comes with a $20/per person admission fee.

 

If you go to either Paradise Beach or Playa Mia you'll find good facilities, nice beach, lots of other families, but no good snorkeling. PB has $3 per person admission fee and a huge pool, while Playa Mia offers a kiddie water park and has too many deals to track - check their web site.

 

Another, less crowded option is Nachi Cocom - all-inclusive (food and drinks) for about $55 each, nice beach, small pool.

 

You will need to taxi to all of these - bring your own car seat.

Thank you for the ideas! Will my 15 mo old daughter pay the same amount as an adult? I don't see a price difference on their websites...?

She should be free or almost free at most of the places - which spot are you focused on? :confused:

Thinking playa Mia as it has the most activities and an entire kid area (buccaneer bay).
