cruise cash question

First i apologize if this has been asked and answered as i couldnt find the exact answer to my question upon searching.

 

when purchasing cruise cash it asks you to pick a delivery time for it to be delivered to your cabin, my question is this: Is it not allready applied to your account when you check in or do you have to wait till you get to your cabin and then take them to guest services to get them added to your account ?:)

I purchased some recently and selected to be delivered on day 1. It was on my account when I boarded and I didn't need to do anything. I did go to Guest Services to make sure since I wanted to buy Cheers and didn't want to have a hassle in case it wasn't there yet. Next time I'll not need to go and check, it will be there.

Every time I buy cruise cash I put day 1. Like the previous poster said it's on your account the minute you board.

I do not put any additional cash or a CC down and never had a issue.

When you get to your cabin there should be receipt showing the cruise cash purchases.

I did like 20 $50 purchases every week before we sailed so I had 20 receipts in my cabin.

 

Just remember cruse cash is use it or lose it so make sure you use it or cash it out in the casino the last night. Guest services would not cash it out on our last cruise. So i had to go to the casino and cash out the balance the last night.

I did add a debt card before I did this just incase there was a incidental purchase I did not see or know about.

I'm glad I did There was a $2 and change charge for a soda I had purchased and it had not shown up on my account yet. I would have been a little ticked to wait in line the morning of debarkation to pay a $2 charge.

 

Also you can put a little cash on the account when you board. They do charge your cruise cash before they charge your OBC or actual cash.

thanks and yes i know its use it or lose it I am using it to go ahead and take care of my bottomless bubbles and steakhouse and maybe behind the fun tour so i am putting n there what i know i am going to spend:)
