I didn't cruise to aruba. I used my timeshare. Just thought you would like to see some pictures of the Island.

Where did you stay? We will be staying at the Divi all inclusive in a couple of weeks. We are wondering whether we should rent a car for the week or only just for a couple of days? What is your opinion? Thanks.

Kings Ribs what a place! Good food, good prices. I also have a timeshare in Aruba and we rented a car for the week we were there. It nice to have access to the car but really only needed it for a few days. I rented a tercel and it was only $165 for the week. Next year we are getting a 4x4 for the other side of the island.

Ummmmmm, your pictures brought back the memories. We were there for a week two years ago. Our upcoming cruise is taking us back for a day. We stayed at LaCabana. We rented a car for only one day to get to baby beach and took the bus all other times since it was so easy and very convenient.

Great pics- thanks for sharing! DH and I went to Aruba for our honeymoon and stayed at Playa Linda. We loved it. We didn't rent a car at all, just used the bus or taxi to get around. We got a free jeep rental one day for looking at a timeshare presentation and used that to go to Baby Beach.

We also own at La Cabana. Went this past May. We rent a car they are reasonable. We like to eat somewhere different every night then hit the casinos. In past years we just took cabs or the bus. Either way it is a laid back island with beautiful beaches.

Nice pictures! So what side of the road do you drive on? One picture looked like the steering wheel was on the RH side. I'm really wondering if we should rent a car while the ship is in port, or just use buses/taxi. We don't have much time, (8am to 4:30pm) and I heard that with the buses, you spend a lot of time waiting. We want to go to baby beach and do some snorkeling. Please let me know what you think. Thanks!
