NBA Finals

Do you think the NBA finals will be playing in the sports bar on June 1, 2014?

OKC vs. San Antonio.

The conference finals OKC vs. SAS may still be in session on 6/1.

Last year on the Dream it was very apparent that sports bar manager was not a NBA fan and refused to show the NBA finals the first day. Finally a group gathered together and went to customer service and a change was made.

The Dream doesn't have a sports bar, are you talking about the Casino bar ?

Last year I went on the Imagination on May 31 for a 3 night Bahamas cruise out of Miami.... It seemed like the NBA Playoff game(s) were shown everywhere throughout the ship. The one night that the Miami HEAT were playing the entire Promenade deck was gathered around watching the game. It seemed at if 70% of the ship was onboard watching the game vs. being out and about in Nassau.

Since Mickey Arison is the Chairman of both Carnival Corp (and thus Carnival Cruise Lines) AND the Miami HEAT they are very inclined to show NBA games onboard... particularly for ships leaving out of Miami/Ft. Lauderdale.

With all that said... GO HEAT! I will be watching the games on the Glory on 5/31-6/7 :D

We were on the Magic last week. The Thunder vs Clippers was shown in the casino bar and the room for game 5. Game 6 was only on in the casino bar. TNT in the room and ESPN only available in the casino bar.

The Finals last year (Spurs-Heat) were shown on the Seaside Theatre on the Dream last June while we were there. Great crowds on Lido every night watching. It was a lot of fun. And it seemed like all the Heat fans were on one side of Lido and the Spurs fans on the other. Fascinating and super fun!!
