Where is the dock that RC uses?

There is one near downtown and the other one is far from it, correct?

Usually the Freedom docks at Havensight, but there can be surprises.

 

I walked off the Independence on May 7, and found myself on the pier at Crown Bay.

Havensight definitely has many many more stores right at the pier, although they are increasing the shops at Crown Bay.

 

You can walk into Charlotte Amalie from Havensight, although most people hop on a jitney.

 

You have to take the shuttle from Crown Bay. It's $4 pp.

 

To me, you should leave the pier area anyway, so shopping availability there is irrelevant.
