Is there anyway I can request minibar be emptyed prior to boarding? Just one less thing to do once we get there.

No. To be honest they no longer like to empty on request..... just pop the items out of the way and stick a note on the cooler door to that effect.

Just off the Oasis - we asked about emptying the "cooler" of the mini-bar items with our stateroom attendant. He said he couldn't, but we could move them out if we wanted to. He recommended someplace the minibar team would see the items. In our cabin (Boardwalk Balcony), there is a shelf right above the TV, which is above the cooler. All the items fit there and once the items were up there, they stayed there both weeks. No problems and no charges.
