Disembarkation Venice - enough time to catch my flight?

Hoping to book costa cruise today but trying to find out when disembarkation is at Venice (Sunday 22 June), does Costa have early disembarkation for morning flights? Getting mixed comments on the web. The travel agent says an 1140 flight back to UK is fine:confused:. Flight ex Marco Polo airport and they also say we have costa transfers. Just wonder if this will all work (have never used Costa before, only Princess and RCCL worldwide!). Thank you!

If docking is timed for 9 am, an 11.40 flight would be a bit early imho

Yes, docking timed for 9 am. Agree, 1140 flight too tight and next flights mean spending manyhours at airport (have been to venice before)...so think will drop this cruise. Thanks.

In the past we were able to store our luggage in the cruise terminal, head into venice for a few hours, pick up our luggage in the afternoon and take a shuttle at 5 pm to the Airport for our 8 pm flight, made the whole Thing quite nice.

 

But if your only Option is heading to the Airport and waiting, you are right, that´s not a nice way to spent your day.

Why not get a much later flight from Venice and spend the day enjoying the city?

If this is not an overnight and you are arriving that morning I would not book a flight until 1:00 PM.

By printing our boarding passes on the ship, we were able to avoid a very long wait in the security line. We went straight to the gate.
