Marina Deck 12 OC Suite Question

If anyone has stayed in a OC suite located on deck 12 starboard side, has the fitness center and aerobics center created much noise in the OC suite? The suites on the starboard side are directly under the fitness and aerobics area.

Noise from the Fitness Center above is not of any concern at all in the Deck 12 Oceania Suites, zero, absolutely none. The Marina is of particularly robust construction for a modern ship, and the designers took advantage of the deep spaces between the girders in the ceiling of Deck 12 to install an extensive amount of soundproofing.

Further, the Aerobics area has a special type of flooring, which deadens the sound even further.

 

Book with confidence, you won't hear a thing. :D

we were in 12015 for Marina's fourth voyage. the noise from above was quite noticeable in the a.m., less so as usage waned. Friends had 12017 on the same voyage and their experience was the same. we have been told O replaced the center's soft flooring during Marina's yard work which addressed the issue. Maybe someone who has been in these rooms more recently will input.

 

we were in 12015 on Riviera in Feb '14. Virtually silent.

We have been in 12015 twice on the Riviera and no noise at all.

Also in the OC Suite on deck 11 you can hear the noise in the morning and evening from the Terrace Cafe as they move things around. But it's not really bad, but you do hear it.
