Epic - The Quiet Zone

Recommended Posts

It's great! Directly across from "Posh" on deck 18. There's an outdoor glass elevator on deck 15. If you're on the pool deck facing the Great Outdoors/Garden Café, the elevator is on the right hand side. There are plenty of loungers, and in the forward area are cushioned loungers, chairs, etc., equal to those in Posh. It's a great place to get away from the crowds, chill out, tan, etc. I don't know why people would pay extra for a Posh pass when the same area is available for free (except for bar service - you can easily go downstairs to be served).

Hi,

What can you tell me about the quiet zone on The Epic?

What a coincidence asking this now...:) I have just covered the Quiet Zone in my review, and I am amazed that NCL regulars aren't aware if it. Basically, it is Posh for free, but with no shade or bar... See this page, post 152...

I have never heard it called that before, but it is very quiet. As you have to go up the elevator, very few people notice it. We didn't go up there last time, but on previous cruises we have gone there for a few sail always. It's nice to relax and watch as you sail away.

I've never seen more than about a dozen people up there.

We were up there, but I've never heard it referred to as a Quiet Zone.
