Huddersfieldtourist Posted July 5, 2014 #5 Share Posted July 5, 2014 Hi everybody my question is about dress code for the evening for Mr Pennypony - is there a dress code he is wondering and can he wear smart shorts and polo neck t or does he have to wear long trousers & a shirt we would love to have your thoughts In shorts on an evening he will be in an extremely small minority to the point he may be on his own dressed as such in most venues. Long trousers and shirt are best and what 99%+ of men will be wearing. He will not be allowed in the Orion Restaurant in shorts on an evening however smart in normal circumstances. Tarquin Posted July 6, 2014 #6 Share Posted July 6, 2014 (edited) Mr Pennypony sounds very similar to myself in that wearing trousers when on a sunshine holiday is hard going, particularly on balmy evenings. However, on cruises the evening temperature drops and most areas are air conditioned so wearing trousers can be a necessity!! If he's unconvinced take him for a couple of spins around the Prom deck at midnight when the winds up and he might change his mind:) Edited July 6, 2014 by Tarquin
