Uwsisgreat Posted July 14, 2014 #1 Share Posted July 14, 2014 Hello! I just booked the August 10th sailing on the breakaway out of NYC this past Thursday night. I see now they are offering 100 on board credit instead of the 30$ I was offered on Thursday. I spoke to the ncl last minute sailing specialist who booked me and he said because I was out of the 24 hour time period, id have to cancel for 1000$ and rebook. Any suggestions on how to get around this? Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Forums
garycarla Posted July 14, 2014 #2 Share Posted July 14, 2014 Amazingly, this sort of thing has not popped up in well over a week, maybe two. Once you hit the final payment date, the price, cabin and contract are locked in. Then, if they have cabins left, they run last minute sales, sometimes with a little discount, sometimes a giveaway, etc. It is for NEW bookings. Your original contract that you and NCL agreed to is still intact. Sorry.
Uwsisgreat Posted July 14, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted July 14, 2014 Thanks Gary for responding! The consultant that I was dealing with said that we can wait and see if the prices drop on the balcony to the price we paid for the ocean view and he can try to get us in there. Does that sound right? Sent from my iPhone using Forums

missdorado26 Posted July 14, 2014 #6 Share Posted July 14, 2014 Same thing happened to Me. Booked Thursday night then today saw they were offering 100 obc. Called and they said it wasn't worth it to cancel and rebook cuz it would cost my $570. My saling is August 15th though.
