Disembarkation - Queen Elizabeth Fly/Med

Hello Everyone,

 

We're going on our first Cunard cruise, QE on 15th August. We've got flights included from Cunard but it doesn't depart till 7pm.

 

They've said as they operate a lot of flights on these cruises disembarkation is a lot more relaxed and doesn't finish anywhere as early. We're not on their charter flight back (fully booked) so on a scheduled flight at 7pm. Their charter flights leaves at 4pm.

 

Just wondered if anyone had any experience/knowledge of the latest transfers to the airport they operate? They have said passengers will leave about midday for their charter flights but wondered if anyone knew if they operated later transfers after this?

We left at around 1.30 last year for a flight at 4'ish. That was for a Cunard charter, hopefully someone who has travelled this year be along soon with more up to date information.

Thank you for your reply. Do you know when you were onboard if there were transfers going later after your one or was your one of the last as it was to coordinate with their charter flight times?

I think we were one of the last. We had to be out of our cabin at normal time but we could leave our hand luggage & go into the city (this was in Venice). We got back in time for lunch in the Lido and our transfer.
