Casino Question

Recommended Posts

I know that you can use your SeaPass card in some of the machines to monitor your play. For the live gaming, you need to talk with the Casino Manager and ask them to rate you for Club Royale. They will watch your play and invite you to join of you have played enough.

Thank you. I wonder what amount determines if you have played enough? Will see. We are on the Oasis in a couple weeks. Probably not a big enough gambler to get some of the perks. Oh well.

There is a point total which translates to a dollar amount that escapes me. Marc will be along soon, he knows the specifics.

If you are a table player, they want you to play at least 3-4 hours a day, betting $50 a hand. I have seen players betting $25 a hand for hours each day and they were able to get free drinks.

If you are a slot player, they are looking for you to play at least 4 hours a day and at least $3 a spin. They do not care if you win or lose, the key to becoming a member of Club Royale is the amount of time you are gambling. For a slot player on a 7 night cruise, they are looking for you to accumulate at least 2100 slot points which you would earn by inserting your sea pass card in slot machines.

If you are a member of MLife you can also call Club Royale at 888-561-2234 and advise them when you will be cruising as you may be entitled to other benefits.

If you feel you fall within those guidelines then you should see a Casino Host.

I was told the number is 2,000 points, although there's pretty much no difference. That was three years ago, though.

Each point represents $5 gambled through the machine.

The good thing about Club Royale membership is that once you qualify, you remain a member. You don't have to keep requalifying year after year.

In addition to the free drinks you get from being a Casino Royale gambler, you also get discounted (or free) cruises… Ok they're not exactly free if you've gambled a LOT. They'll usually comp you for a bottle of wine and/or a specialty dinner. And based on how much you gambled, on your next cruise there will be a cash rebate waiting for you at the casino cashier cage.

Thanks so much for your information on this subject! I called Royal Caribbean and they were not very specific but then I wasn't either. So will see if we end up qualifying??? Who knows

If your a table player you can talk to a Pit Boss advise them to track your play if the Casino Host is not available. If your a slot player, remember to insert your seapass in every slot machine you play that will track your points.

Good Luck in the casino!
