Epic - mini suite vs balcony room

Can someone tell me the difference with these rooms please.

They look the same. The upgrade is not much more but wondered what I would get. We need one to sleep 4 people.

Thanks.

For 4, I would go for as much space as possible. Sounds like from at least one of the other postings, the bedding for the 3rd and 4th person is more ideal in the mini than the balcony. We had balcony on Epic and they aren't as roomy as on Holland or Carnival, especially for 4.

I found the above thread and it is the cabin (12072) that we have booked for March 2016. It is an extended balcony and this is why I chose it. We are travelling with our 2 children aged 15 & 12 when we sail.

In this cabin there is almost the same floor space as a mini suite but more of it is on the balcony and if we can put 4 chairs out there it gives us a 'lounge' area. The photos in this review are excellent.
