Traditionally DCL has the movie showing onboard the SAME day it is released in theaters. So if the movie is released on Christmas day in theaters, it should also premier onboard the same day.

When we were on the Wonder last year, Monsters University was released in the theaters. Disney had it on the ship too. First showing was at midnight on the release day, and then it was shown many more times during the cruise. By the way, their movie theater was beautiful and the seats were comfy.
