granni10 Posted September 29, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 29, 2014 Husband and I have never stayed in a balcony room in all our cruises, my question is if we want to enjoy a breakfast on the balcony, how long does it take to deliver or can you arrange for it the night before? everyone said it is something special to try .Thanks for the input. SMSACE6 Posted September 29, 2014 #2 Share Posted September 29, 2014 There is a paper door hanger that you fill out and hang outside your door before 5am? I think, I just hang it out the night before when going to bed for the night. On that door hanger you write in a time frame of when you want it delivered ie; 7am to 7.15am. Also remember that it is continental breakfast only, no eggs bacon etc. but you can order toast, croissants, Danish, fruit, cereal yogurt, smoked salmon and more. Also indicate how many of each item you wish, and how many for coffee etc. You can also call it in by phone but I have no experience with this process. When I have hung out the paper order form I have always received the order on time, or even slightly early at times.
Tutontow Posted September 29, 2014 #3 Share Posted September 29, 2014 Let me add the door hanger has always worked well for us and the smoked salmon ends up being bagels and lox and it is quite tasty.
momonthego17 Posted September 29, 2014 #4 Share Posted September 29, 2014 Remember to include half n half if u need it for coffee. I also order 2 ice waters, which I write in. Make sure you set out a couple bucks for a tip so in the morning you don't need to scramble for it. Have a great cruise! serene56 Posted September 29, 2014 #5 Share Posted September 29, 2014 You can always bring it back from the buffet but there is no real table out there so you will have to hold your plate. There is a small parsons type table out there There are tables by the windows up on the Lido deck too
near the beach Posted October 1, 2014 #6 Share Posted October 1, 2014 Instead of holding your plate you can use a tray from room service.
