Correct side?

Will soon be on our way and are booked for the Liberty in balcony cabin 8253. Is this the side to see the most when entering the ports of Aruba, Grand Turk and Curaçao? Anyone out there who has done the Liberty on that side of the ship? Would appreciate any info. Thank you.

You are on the " Starboard " side and may see a lot of the islands when you approach. You will probably be facing the ocean when your are tied up in the ports of Aruba and Curcao. Depending how many ships are in Grand Turk you can be on either side. We are heading out on the Liberty this month, with a cabin on the "Starboard" side also. You will be able to see some excellent views when at sea when you pass different countries along with other ships.

And sometimes there can be another ship on the other side of the pier blocking your view.

Lot of people think " port " side means that is side of ship that faces the port. Incorrect. All " Port " means is LEFT side of ship. " Starboard " is right side. Has nothing to do with how ship faces any given port.

There is no correct side, I love both, I pick port out of habit. Nothing like morning coffee or a good night cocktail on a balcony. Just saying:)

Just got off the Liberty today having done this route. We were in 7427 and did not face the port in any of our stops.

The last time I was in Grand Turk, I couldn't see the island from my room either. I was in an inside room. Still had a great time.

Can easily go up on deck if you are facing the "wrong side",
