Divi Little Bay Resort

Now mind you I have not been to that many beaches in St. Martin but I really like Divi and dislike Orient. I detest sitting in traffic. Most will tell you there are better beaches and that is probably true but Divi works for me. Nice beach, loungers, food and drink available and quiet.

Is Divi good for snorkeling??? I am looking for a beach where we can snorkel. So far we are thinking of going to Pinel Island but the negative side of that is the distance and we want to do it on our own just in case the day is not suitable for snorkeling.

We just got home from our cruise, 4th time in St Maarten and usually go to Orient but wanted something different closer to port due to protests on French/Dutch border. We went to Divi Little Bay and loved it! Great snorkeling to the left by the rocks. Will go there again next time. :)

I am actually disappointed that excursions now are booked here. It has become my go to beach for a quiet, un crowded day even with many ships in port. Hope that does not change too much.

I'm wondering why excursions are even offered to Little Divi? It is quite close to port and is just a beach. Doesn't seem worth it to go through an excursion.

Yes, I was not aware they offered excursions there. I didn't see any on our R/C cruise. It's only a 10 min cab ride, $10 for 2. I really enjoyed it.
