There is also a full ship control station in the belly of the ship that can take over control in case something happens above......i.e. highjack situation. runs off a camera system and isolated by secure door systems.

Two of my favorite ships are the Crystal Symphony and Prinsendam. Each has open bridge wings. (It looks like the Vision class did originally, but were covered by a permanent awning). My favorite sailaway location is on the sun deck looking down on the wings;
