Honey49 Posted October 19, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 19, 2014 Thank you all for your help with my St Petersburg tours, I have booked with TJ. I am now hoping you can advise as to whether it is a good idea to book ship tours, private tours, hop-on buses etc, in Copenhagen, Visby, Helsinki, Tallin and Stockholm. I have heard that the ho-ho buses in these cities can be a little unreliable. Are they small enough cities to explore on your own, I will only ever come here this one time and don't want to miss anything important, but I have heard there is not that much to see anyway. Thanking all you cruising experts in advance for your excellent advice.
Langley Cruisers Posted October 19, 2014 #2 Share Posted October 19, 2014 Probably best to keep posting on the same Port of Call board that you have been. People there who have done tours, both private and ship, can help you. :)

seaofwonder Posted October 21, 2014 #6 Share Posted October 21, 2014 Visby - just walk into town. Copenhagen/Stockholm/Helsinki - there are hoho buses. We tried them for the first time and hated them. Too crowded with cruise passengers, took too long, and very boring. Copenhagen - canal boat tour was enjoyable Helsinki - just walked around after catching shuttle Russia - book a private tour. More intimate and less people on the bus. Check out port of call board for companies and reviews. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
