1:30 boarding time?

My mom saw somewhere that our rooms, Riviera deck, don't board until 1:30. Is this true? I was really wanting to board early enough to be able to go to the MDR for lunch, not the buffet. Thoughts?

That is a suggested time to help smoothe out the number of people checking in at a time.

Usually around 11 AM with boarding usually starting by noon

They are trying to spread out the boarding process so there is not the huge line when they start. If you prefer to wait in line that is fine.
