sunrise@sea Posted October 23, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 23, 2014 I've been on many many cruises on many cruise lines and really don't like to dress up. I've seen the Fred Olsen dress code and have to ask: Is it possible to survive a F.O. cruise with only one blue blazer and one tie? Is there any alternative to formal nights? Or should I just avoid this cruise line?

I doubt you would get into the Main Dining Room on Formal nights, but there is an alternative. wft
Parsman Posted October 24, 2014 #4 Share Posted October 24, 2014 If you don't want to dress up on formal nights (almost all men wear dinner jackets) you can wear casual clothes and eat in the self-service restaurant.
