Thanks for your thoughts. Last time they tried to do an MRI they ended up having to send him to an open MRI machine cause he couldn't do a normal one. He used to never be like this. I'm guessing it has to do with his time in Iraq. That seems to be the only issue I've noticed so I can't complain. I know I have started to get a little uneasy with tight situations as i get older so it is hard to tell.

My husband has been fine with roller coasters and doesn't mind flying. It is just climbing up things that bothers him. I think the stairs leading to the zip lines will be fine for him. Ladders tend to both him depending on how high. How high would you say the highest zip line is?

Thanks again

I am thinking that the highest line was 200 ft. These weren't the highest lines I have been on.

If you ever have a cruise going to St. Kitts, I believe its Southern Caribbean, then I suggest very highly doing your first zip line there. Their equipment is unlike anywhere in the Caribbean, the most comfortable and safest. Also there is no climbing at all, they actually take you by a vehicle to all the zip lines.

I am also scared of heights, and for some reason I was feeling very brave when I booked it. The evening before the zip line, I started freaking out and wanted to cancel. I thought to my self what was I thinking, I was already petrified. Since it was less then 24 hours they would not give me my money back. So in the morning, I just decided to go, somehow I was able to calm myself down. Anyway, after my first zip line, I was so happy I went, actually it was not scary, the equipment felt so secure and comfortable. In the end I was disappointed that it was the end, there was 4 zip lines, I wanted to keep on going. Truly it was an awesome experience, and if I go to St Kitts again, I am definitely doing it again. I really have no desire to do it anywhere else.

Thanks. I'll keep that in mind. I love the southern itinerary and plan on doing it again. That might be a good option for us in that port.

I did my first zip line in St. Kitts. They had a little "trial" run before you actually went on the bigger lines. That one you have to book through Carnival, you can't book on your own. I think it was about $90 per person when we did it. I may have some pictures from that in my Victory review.

Yep, the trial run was very close to the ground and very short length wise, so you can get a feel of it and know how to zip line correctly. Its still 90 bucks from Carnival.

Once back on the ship from Belize, we all went to our cabins and showered and changed.

We decided to try our luck again with the MDR for dinner tonight. It was better! We did not have a long wait, even for a table for 6. We had a waiter named OBRYAN, and he seemed like he was on top of things. We liked him and his team. And they did the dance for us tonight.

We were thankful for the nice day we had today in Belize, although the threat had been with us for rain all week. There actually was an announcement from the captain tonight telling us that rain would be expected tomorrow, so to consider that when considering our plans. I had never heard an announcement like that before. Usually they try to keep the weather forecasts hushed if rain is coming.

So, we took a walk outside to see what it was like, ad it was not bad at all.

We went to the atrium bar for a couple of drinks

Delightful. Love a good martini.

DH and I went to the theater to catch Divas, but I fell asleep in there :o. I was really worn out. We went to bed right after this.

I only had 2 drinks today from the Cheers package. When you are in port for a long day, there really isn't much time.

The next day is Mahogany Bay, Roatan.

Luckily, no hurry to get off the ship today. We went to the gym in the morning. Then we met with friends and just went to the Lido for breakfast. Most of us had an omelet, and of course DH got his daily dose of bacon.

Then we headed to the aft Lido bar for a morning OJ, with a dash of GG.

This was our second time in Roatan. Last time, we got a taxi and headed to some primitive-looking zip line, followed by looking and holding monkeys. See the Liberty 2013 review for that adventure. So this time, I just wanted a day at the beach right at Mahogany Bay. Didn't want to be rushed, just wanted to walk over there and sit and relax.

We decided not to take the flying chairs. It is just a very short walk, and we took the nature trail.

We the place was busy. The chairs were pretty much taken for the first couple of rows, we had to walk down the beach and go back a few before we found a place to sit (with the 6 of us together). We settled down, headed into the water. Came back to the chairs and it wasn't long before DH decided that he wanted to try some snorkeling. So off he went to rent the gear.

Here's my view looking behind me and down to the right. I had to use the restroom, so I went through Fat Tuesday's and it was in the back. There was another restaurant there, and the prices on the drinks were the same at each place. Seemed to be about ship prices. We didn't get anything.

Look at the front of the rows. There was a band playing and walking around, they had a box that said "TIPS" held out by one of the men.

I tried to get a better picture and thought I did, but guess not. That was the best I could do.

After a while, we just went right back on the ship to have lunch and a drink. We got back off the ship later for a quick look around the shopping area.

When we got back on the ship again, there was a game of this going on in the lobby. When you stack these wooden block things, then pull one out. I can't remember what this is called and it doesn't look like its listed in the day's activities. Please someone tell me what you call this so it doesn't drive me crazy.

We headed outside when it was time for sail away to see if we could see any pier runners.

Oh, and forgot to say that the power was out when we were walking around the port area in the shops. No air conditioning and quiet! Also the chairs were also stopped, I guess they had generators to get the people off of them and then it stopped.

Oh yeah, we, along with our friends, got our bathrobes on for a picture! I bought the 8x10 for $20. Good memories here.

haha! Don't ask me why I thought I had to have my purse?

We took our robes back to our cabins, and came out for a little while longer, but didn't stay out too late. The more the cruise goes on, the more tired I get!

Here are our nighttime pictures.

Was the game Jenga? Would be fun if they left it out to play anytime.

Yes I think that's it! They had it out a couple of times. Another time was on the last sea day (Saturday) sometime in the morning. I will have to look and see if it was listed in the fun times then. They had a Carnival entertainment employee out there to officiate and give away prizes.
