Carnival Spirit delays

The carnival Spirit was showing as supposed to have left Melbourne 8pm last night. But its still showing on the webcam as still in Port

 

Anybody know the reason for the delay in its departure. Hopefully no mechanical problems

 

Having said that it can still arrive on time for Sunday Morning even if it left tonight.

Its on the Ports of Melbourne site as leaving 7 Nov at 6.30

I read in another place they are performing scheduled maintenance on the Spirit's propulsion system which is taking longer than expected hence the departure delay. Carnival States the Spirit will arrive in Sydney on Sunday as scheduled, cheers , Buzz.

I was wondering why it was still there last night. I guessed a late excursion return from the races. But it was still there this morning, and the traffic is not that bad.

 

I saw it sail out about one hour ago, looking across from Williamstown foreshore.
