DanishBeauty Posted November 9, 2014 #1 Share Posted November 9, 2014 I am considering an afternoon snorkeling tour with Fury tours that ends at 4PM. My ship leaves Key West at 5. Am I cutting it to close to make it back to the ship? in time Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Silvery Seas Cruiser Posted November 9, 2014 #2 Share Posted November 9, 2014 Many ships I have sailed required passengers to be back on board a half hour before the ship is set to depart. That said, folks seem to trail back to the ship almost right up to departure time. For myself I would be extremely anxious if I were pushing that last fifteen minutes mark. In your case be sure to check carefully exactly what time guests are expected to be back on board and what time the ship will set sail.
peter_krynicki Posted November 10, 2014 #3 Share Posted November 10, 2014 FWIW the Appledore V with Sebago goes out at 10:00 am and returns at 3:00 pm and serves a nice lunch and gives you more time in the water. It gives you two hours to get back and over to the ship to the ship. Pjk
DanishBeauty Posted November 11, 2014 Author #4 Share Posted November 11, 2014 Thanks so much for the suggestion. I love the idea of a sailing schooner instead of a catamaran. Tripadvisor reviews were great. Booked it! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
