Holland America Veendam - March 7, 2015 - San Diego to Mexican Riviera

Looking forward to the March 7 sailing from San Diego on the Holland America Veendam. Traveling solo and looking forward to meeting other LGBT travelers on this cruise.

Hey, I'm curious... what made you go on a cruise by your self?

 

I've cruised the MexRiv several times... love it.

I have never minded traveling alone. In fact, I think it can be quite relaxing and enjoyable to be able to do what you want, when you want to do it, and not have to worry about anyone else. Plus, on a cruise, it's easy to meet other people if you want or to be alone if you want.

 

I am also a writer, so traveling alone on a cruise provides an nice escape with plenty of opportunities to write. I get great ideas when it's just me and my laptop on a cruise ship balcony, staring at the ocean.
