jticarruthers Posted November 18, 2014 #101 Share Posted November 18, 2014 I think someone already said it but my interpretation of the Terms & Conditions is that the BOGO is combinable with C&A but the OBC is not. So you can get BOGO and OBC or BOGO and C&A but not BOGO and OBC and C&A. Whats strange is that it tells me that BOGO and C&A is a better deal when it isn't. C&A is $100, BOGO is $200 so if I paid $100 more up front I would get $200 in OBC ... ending up $100 ahead on the total deal. I think the RCI system only looks at the up front though and "suggests" the C&A package because its cheaper upfront.
Blessedwith10 Posted November 18, 2014 #102 Share Posted November 18, 2014 If you think you would have no trouble using the $100 on board credit, then I'd take it. Clarea, Can OBC be used for gratuities? If so, I think that I will call and reprice our cruise. We would pay more initially but get $200 OBC which would end up $75 to the good. Thanks for your help. If you have selected traditional dining and have not prepaid gratuities, then the OBC can be used for gratuties. If you have opted for My Time Dining or have prepaid gratuities, then you cannot use OBC for gratuities.
