kayehall Posted November 20, 2014 #1 Share Posted November 20, 2014 If we have adjoinging rooms, can the divider on the balcony be removed?
bbeltmom Posted November 20, 2014 #2 Share Posted November 20, 2014 Short answer. Yes. We asked about this the last time we were on - since we are on again in January with adjoining rooms. I don't believe you even need official adjoining rooms to have the divider opened up. We were on the Summit with MIL and DD in next (but not adjoining) room and we were able to have it opened. cle-guy Posted November 20, 2014 #3 Share Posted November 20, 2014 In almost all cases on S class, yes, there may be a few that can't open to mechanical limitations. On M class, however, there are many more restricted dividers that can't open. I believe that in generally, M class DO NOT open, but for the newer AQ cabins added recently, and certain others. I'm Sailing in a week on Sillie, in RS, and friend is in cabin next door, an AquaClass stateroom, and we plan to have the steward open our divider to in essence have a 2 bedroom suite and giant veranda. I'd assume so long as you have both passengers from each cabin present when asking the steward, it won't be an issue. I'd hope that if only 1 cabin asked, they would say no until getting permission from both!
Karynanne Posted November 20, 2014 #4 Share Posted November 20, 2014 Ask your cabin steward and the divider will be unlocked.
