Is there a lot of movement in a 4J cabin? This would be Deck 6 on Sunshine. I am considering either a 4J or inside on Lido. Advise please.

I believe the 4J's are located on the very front of the ship......which is going to give you the most movement.

 

Personally I would find something more mid-ship......

We stayed in a 4J room on the Victory last month. We were on Lido. We did feel movement, but it led to us having the best sleep of our lives! We loved having access to the forward deck...spent many hours out there just looking at the sea and islands as we arrived!

"A lot" of movement is relative, and somewhat of a personal choice.

 

Yes, there will be "more" movement than midship, but if the seas are relatively calm, then there won't be a lot of movement either location. :cool:

 

Some like the movement (sleeping better), some don't (get sick).

If you are interested in the 4J grab it quickly, they tend to go very fast. You can feel some motion but as others have said, it really is a personal preference. But be aware that on deck 6, you may be over the theatre.

If you're in the least succeptible to motion discomfort then a 4j is really not for you. Leave them to us crusty salt's who enjoy the feel of a moving deck beneath our feet.

I've stayed in 4J, deck 9 on the Breeze..... best cabin I've ever had. ...... and yes, they do go fast because many people know it's the best bargain on the ship

We love the 4J cabins and never really noticed a big difference in motion from other locations. We enjoy being rocked to sleep every night.
