meow! Posted April 28, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 28, 2004 In most cruise ship cabins, you have to step up a few inches to get into the bathroom due to the raised floor. Is this also the case on Silversea ships or is the bathroom floor level with the rest of the suite (as in a house)? Thank you.
Observer Posted April 28, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 28, 2004 I am nearly certain that there is a step up. This is probably necessary to allow room for the plumbing pipes, etc., below the floor of the bathroom.
eiramanid Posted April 28, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 28, 2004 There is a step up on the Silver Whisper, but thge bathroom are quite large compared to most cruise ships.
SteveBear Posted April 29, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 29, 2004 The bathrooms are on a raised floor on all four Silversea ships. That's one of the reasons I leave the bathroom light on all night with the door slightly ajar. Run for your lives; it's a grumpily pedantic bear. Talisker92 Posted April 29, 2004 #6 Share Posted April 29, 2004 We always pack a little night light and plug it into the 120 volt razor points in the bathroom.
