1st Time in S. Caribbean

This will be my first time on a southern caribbean cruise. We are going on the Destiny. Which island is best to dive in? I dove once in Cozmel and it was nice. I would like to know peoples ideals.

You are have to provide more information in order to get you question answered. Which islands are you visiting? What is your experience level? What do you want from a dive operator? Do you want shore dives or boat dives?

We enjoyed Grand Cayman very much. Lots of colorful fish & great visability. Don't know if you are going there.

We will be going to San Juan, but probably will not dive there. St. Thomas/St. John, Dominica, Barbado, and Aruba.

 

As far as experience, I have done one open water dive in Cozmel and that was a dreef dive. Probably would perfer going out on a boat. My husband has more experience, been diving alot longer.

 

I guess I'm looking for the best dive.

OK, here goes:

 

St. Thomas, either a shore dive with http://www.cokidive.com or a boat dive with Chris Sawyer diving http://www.sawyerdive.vi who has an excellent reputation. Other boat dive choices would be http://www.admiraltydive.com or http://www.blueislanddivers.com, both who have had good reviews about them on cruise critic.

 

Aruba - http://www.divearuba.com is a pretty good choice.
