Toronto hotel during PanAmerican games

Would appreciate advice as to how the Games will impact on my three days in Toronto during July particularly on Monday 20th when we are getting the 11.30 am train to Montreal to join cruise i.e. road blocks, taxis etc.

Depends where you are staying?

If you are right downtown near the train station it should not be a problem

 

Try the Royal York hotel there are other within walking distance to Union Station

 

There is always thew subway for getting around

I would check out the Toronto Tourism site

Thanks for your advice. I have booked hotel within walking distance to train. Have stayed several times at UT campus or nearby so not very familiar with Front Street area.

You can also check the Toronto Forum on Trip advisor ...there are hotels close to the PATH (underground walkway) that could work for you as well
