Post-Cruise Tour in MIAMI w/ airport dropoff?

I just booked a quick 3-nighter on the Sky from Miami, and I booked a late (5:45pm) flight from Mia on Monday so we can enjoy Miami post-cruise. We want to utilize as much fun time as we can since it's such a short trip.

Surprisingly, the cruise line is not offering a post-cruise tour or either is already sold out. Now, I am stuck with a late flight and nothing to do. Does anyone know of a company that picks up at the pier then drops us off at the airport after the tour and will keep our luggage? We are not picky on the tour... could be Miami sightseeing or Everglades tour or combo of both.

If we can't find a tour, plan B would be a hotel day pass. Anyone know of any hotels offering this? HELP!

http://www.between9and5.com is one source for hotels offering day rates. Sofitel near MIA often comes up for about $100. About a $25-30 cab ride from POM.

I would cab to MIA, ($24+tip) store your bags there (small fee), and then catch the Airport Flyer bus from MIA to South Beach fro $2.65 each - lunch, drinks, beach, people watching, etc. Then bus back to MIA in time for your flight.

You may want to also consider the Hop On Hop Off bus tour. We did this last November and found it enjoyable. It was a quick way to see the area. We boarded the bus at the port and they collected our luggage. We had some time to kill so we got off at the Miami Beach stop and walked around and picked up another bus a little later.

When we were ready headed back to Bayside Market, collected our luggage and boarded the bus to MIA.

Not worrying about luggage was a real plus.
