GALAXY - INTERNET ACCESS

There appears to be conflicting information on this board and on the Celebrity website with respect to internet access on the Galaxy.

I'd appreciate any actual information from recent Galaxy passengers about internet access and cost.

...Thanks

I was on the Galaxy back in March and yes there is definitely internet access. I e-mailed home several times. The exact cost per minute I am not sure, but on a short e-mail, it ran about $2.50.

I think its just the internet cafe. It was when I was on the Galaxy. I have asked several times about in cabin service. Have not had a reply, so I assume its not available. icon_confused.gif I thought it might be in the suites. icon_confused.gif

I just got off the galaxy last friday and there is currently 2 locations where the computers are.

1. deck 6 by the theater

2. deck 5 by the information desk

the computers are very very slow and the cost is 50 cents per minute.

they are renovating some space by the library to become the new internet cafe.

Hope this helps

Only the "M" class ships have in-cabin internet access ... and that may only be at certain cabin categories. No in-cabin on c-class (Galaxy, Century, Mercury).

"M" class would be Summit,Infinity, Millenium

That space was one of the old internet access locations. They closed it the sailing of 4/26. It is being converted to a new card room. The old card room will be for Acupuncture. That is what I was told by the librarian.
