Kiwi Kid Posted February 11, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 11, 2015 We are in port in July from 7am - 6.30pm and wanted to do something memorable for daughters birthday. Would a day spent in Corfu be "different?Am guessing she at 19 will be a little over historical buildings & history unless it has a real point of difference. We'd love a meal somewhere special but she is vegetarian and a little fussy, but perhaps someone could recommend an amazing location with stunning views? Appreciate anyone's input - and if there's something you think we should do that I haven't covered, then fire away! Cheers.

lisiamc Posted February 11, 2015 #4 Share Posted February 11, 2015 There are some very trendy and eye-wateringly expensive shops in Capri town. You might not see your daughter for hours! :)
euro cruiser Posted February 12, 2015 #5 Share Posted February 12, 2015 (edited) While it is possible to get to Capri from Salerno it often does not work for cruise passengers because of the timing of the ferries. The schedules won't be posted until the season begins so there's no way to know right now. It's a long trip to Capri from Salerno, perhaps it would be better to consider the Amalfi Coast (Positano, or Ravello in particular). These will be easier to reach by water or by land. (Ravello requires land transport, while Positano or Amalfi can be reached by water or land.) Edited February 12, 2015 by euro cruiser
