Ice in cabin--can I ask for 2 buckets?

Ok, I've been on over 10 cruises, and I just had this thought---can I ask for another ice bucket for the cabin? Or are we strictly limited to one?

We've had two before. One the normal metal type and one plastic for chilling wine. Just ask.

We bring blow-up ice buckets for our amenities and have had as many as 3 and we always ask our cabin steward from the first day to keep them filled. We have never had a problem. When they do that without problems, we always tip extra.

I was recovering from a meniscus tear surgery on one cruise - I was told to ice my knee several times a day. Room steward was great. He brought me 2-3 ice buckets, and then when he realized what I was doing he brought one of those big plastic buckets that you see them toting around at the bars. You can have as much ice as you want!
