Just Wondering About Custom Air

We will be on the Viking Homelands itinerary leaving from Bergen on 7/11 and booked our air through Viking as well. As this is our 7th Viking cruise we qualifiy for "free" custom air (as opposed to the $50/pp charge) for our river cruise arrangements but wonder if that will extend to the oceans cruises as well. I have heard that they are considered two seperate entities for business purposes. Anyone have any experience booking "custom" air arrangements through Viking for a Star cruise?

we've sailed with Viking 4 times. We were advised the "free" custom air does not apply to Viking Oceans

That is very disappointing. Although we are looking forward to a wonderful cruise the trip there and back can certainly get things off to a "good start" or end them on a "bad note". I am hoping that their arrangements are reasonable and comfortable ... fingers crossed.

We booked a deviation (end of Met 09-15-15 cruise) and were very pleased with the air flights Viking arranged for us...........I would book air through Viking again based on this experience.
