Hi all,

Does anyone know if there are any decent (safe and clean) hotels near the port that offers free parking with a night's stay prior to cruising? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated (unless I'm hoping for the impossible :))

Thank you!

country inn usually offers something. If you are looking in the French quarter or business district there are a lot of hotels that offer "free parking with stay" but then charge you outrageous prices. We stayed in the French quarter and just paid to park separately as it was cheaper

We always stay at the Quality Inn in Gretna. It is a drive but they have a shuttle service that takes you to the pier (FOR FREE) and they also pick you up on Disembarkation. Parking during the cruise is FREE and the overall cost is $139/ night. A taxi ride to the French Quarter is about $15-20. Well worth it compared to the other options around NOLA and very safe. We have never had any problems!

Good luck!
