Capt_BJ Posted March 16, 2015 #2 Share Posted March 16, 2015 (edited) from the tender landing walk to the right a couple of hundred yards and you'll find Eden Rock Dive Shop the Eden Rock dive site is one of the best snork' sites on the island You can rent equipment at the shop .... jump in .... and go for it You saved $$ .... no need for an "excursion" http://www.edenrockdive.com/ BUT ... this is big boy snorkeling .... NO standing up ..... the water is deeper than that. Edited March 16, 2015 by Capt_BJ
bpqueen Posted March 16, 2015 #3 Share Posted March 16, 2015 We've been to GC several times. Last time we took a 10 min. taxi ride to Smiths Beach (the locals call it Smiths Bracadere) it is gorgeous! A small cove, great snorkeling (bring your gear) and there are rocks you can jump off. Threre is also a small island, very close to the beach that you can swim out and snorkel around, great place, bring water/snacks as nothing there. Have fun!
