beach day question

Quick Cozumel question for all of you.

 

Trying to decide on beach day and would like some opinions. My friend Kelli's preference is Few kids, booze close by and posh loungers. I would add shade options ( pale irish skin). Have never done AI but open to it.

 

Was considering Nachi but looks like they just have plastic chairs (no cushions) and no umbrellas. Can u get cushions? How hard is it to find a hut?

 

Other beaches we Should try?

The easy solution at Nachi is to rent the foam floating mat ($7 on our last visit - but my memory may be fogged by all of the margaritas :o) and use it as a cushion for your lounger.

 

Lots of shade options at Nachi -- you will not be stuck in the sun unless you want sun.

Good luck finding posh loungers. We spent a week at Secrets Resort which is an AI that has day passes and no kids and the loungers were OK, but I wouldn't call them posh.

As I recall the Iberostar resort has padded loungers. And Maybe Playa Azul, north of downtown, I can't recall but know El Cozumeleno next door doesn't.

 

Of course these places are going to be a tad more expensive than Nachi or Mr Sanchos, even with the $7 tariff for a float mat.

Mr Sanchos has always been a great place. Heard they now have 2 pools with bar just for the AI section?
