laceydog Posted April 8, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 8, 2015 Carnival allows you to bring on 12 sodas or waters per person. Does anyone know if juice boxes count as carry on beverages? We would need them to take with us for excursions. Thanks for your help.
Queen of Oakville Posted April 8, 2015 #2 Share Posted April 8, 2015 You won't have any problem. I didn't realize they restricted water? It's been a while since we sailed carnival though. For cruises where we don't have a beverage plan, we bring a 24 of water, and slap a luggage tag on them, and leave it with our checked luggage at the pier. For juice boxes, I would just keep them in your suitcases. At that point, you don't care about weight so just stuff them in your suitcase when you get to the pier. They are more concerned about alcohol smugglers. I think for wine, they let you bring on two bottles per adult, but I'm not sure.
SadieN Posted April 9, 2015 #3 Share Posted April 9, 2015 It's not that big of a restriction. Some lines don't let anything liquid on. Also, water and soda can be brought on at any port. Carnival does it allow drinks to be put through as luggage. You have to schlep it on yourself.
