alphie1991 Posted April 28, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 28, 2015 Coming to Seattle in about a week for cruise to Alaska, staying at Hyatt Place downtown near Space Needle. Need info on transportation -- this hotel is not partner of Seattle express or shuttle express and east side prius' don't look big enough. Will have 2 adults and one child, probably 5 bags plus 3 carry ons (non-roller bags). Any information appreciated.

Last year we used AlreadyThereTownCar service from airport to the hotel (2 adults) and to the pier (4 adults). I believe it was $45 for each transport. Each adult had one large bag...four bags in the trunk just fit. I believe we held our carry-ons on our laps. lol But it was only for about 8 blocks. From the pier back to the airport we use Seattle Express...$12 per person and they meet you out in front curb side. mapleleaves Posted April 28, 2015 #3 Share Posted April 28, 2015 if a Prius is too small, request a minvan when you make the reservation....... it will cost $7-$8 more but still cheaper than the taxi line. Seattle Express is usually the cheapest ride from either pier to SeaTac, at $12pp.
molme Posted April 28, 2015 #4 Share Posted April 28, 2015 We are using Shuttle Express from SEATAC to hotel and from hotel to pier. We are four adults with eight pieces of luggage and decided to get a SUV with driver from airport to hotel, Hampton Inn downtown (space needle area), cost $85. The trip from hotel to pier is in a shared shuttle and cost $47 for all four. I know we could have done the trip from the airport cheaper, but decided rather than share and stop at different hotels on the way to ours, it was worth it to us.
