hfj17002 Posted May 19, 2015 #1 Share Posted May 19, 2015 I just booked my first cruise & have a VIFP # by my name on our booking. My wife doesn't have one by her name, does she need one? Or will she just be grouped with me as I move up levels in the future? How does it work if you have a spouse that cruises with you? Thanks! Podna's Posted May 19, 2015 #2 Share Posted May 19, 2015 (edited) If she is also cruising on her 1st cruise with Carnival, she'll have her own number. Edited May 19, 2015 by Podna's
bruadhin Posted May 19, 2015 #3 Share Posted May 19, 2015 She will be assigned her own. I don't recall how it went for us, but I suspect it will happen when she checks in for the cruise.

Everyone who cruises Carnival will be given their own VIFP number on their first cruise. And each person will accrue his or her own benefits based on the number of days sailed on Carnival. Even kids! Some kids earn platinum benefits before they become legal age! Sometimes one person in a family will be extended special cruise rates while the others don't receive the offer. So it is important for each person to check their own VIFP offers. http://www.carnival.com/loyalty/benefits.aspx
bakersdozen12 Posted May 20, 2015 #10 Share Posted May 20, 2015 (edited) What I did was I signed my husband and I up for VIFP accounts online, then I added the numbers to the booking. Edited May 20, 2015 by bakersdozen12
