I know it has been asked many times but I can't seem to find the thread. This will be our first cruise we have ever had to fly for and the question is a 10:35 A.M. fight realistic? We are on the Carnival Liberty in September and will choose to carry off our own luggage. Thanks for the help in advance!

Which port and day of week ?

The OP is obviously asking about the Carnival Liberty, and this is the San Juan board.

The ship arrives in port around 8am on Sundays. By the time it clears customs, it will be at least 8:30 or 9am.

You'll need to grab a cab to the airport, 25 min minimum. Then you have to go through the agricultural screening before the main security screening.

The answer to the OP question is: Only a slight chance of making that flight.

Plan on a flight leaving at noon or later.

Almost the entire ship's passengers will be trying to leave the island the same day. A 10:35am flight is unrealistic.

Your welcome. On our October cruise on the Liberty, our flight out of San Juan is at 2:30pm.

I plan on enjoying a long MDR breakfast, and relax. Head out for the airport around noon.

Remember to do the agricultural inspection before your security check in. It is on the right just as you enter the airport.
