sh2738 Posted June 13, 2015 #1 Share Posted June 13, 2015 Hey. First time doing Alaska and first on princess. What sort of activities are there to do? Anything interesting for people that aren't older ;) My sis and I are going and we are in our 20s so much younger than what the majority on a princess is going to be I think? One of our faves, beside gambling in casinos is Bingo. I am assuming that princess does bingo. Has anyone done it and can say what it is like. Is it old fashioned style bingo with the paper cards or the new age ones on other cruise lines that have electronic cards? Thanks.

cheeseclan Posted June 13, 2015 #3 Share Posted June 13, 2015 We were on the Ruby May 24 with our 17 year old son. We all had a blast and were never sitting still. He/we would go to all of the talks from the naturalist and rangers. There were some interesting shows in the piazza: one was a martini demonstration where i got to dance for a free martini. Boy was it good and strong:) There were also some movies at Mutts and in the theater that the boys went to. I would just sit on the balcony and check out the awesome scenery. In port, we were never on the ship from the time it docked to the time it departed. It was an awesome cruise with a great staff that were all very happy! ENJOY!!! Guess we won't be doing as much bingo this time
West Coast Gal Posted June 13, 2015 #5 Share Posted June 13, 2015 oh come on grin . . . they seem to have different bingos every day, even if they are paper and who knows you may just win lol . . . they have movies under the stars, with blankets if you need them, . The night club is lively, if in our 20's means over twenty one . . . comedy shows, there are any number of fun trivia games, with {non} valuable prizes that you can win! Karoke, pool games, exercise challenges, kitchen tours, afternoon tea and talent shows . . . what I like about Princess, is there always seems to be something going on . . . so my advice is to try as much as possible because you never know how much fun you can have! I'll be on the 7/12 cruise with my teen nephew. Did your son use the Remix Lounge for teens? If so, what did he think about it? I can't seem to find what their hours are, do you know? Thanks, Fran
cheeseclan Posted June 27, 2015 #7 Share Posted June 27, 2015 FM-R, Sorry my son did not go to the club. He was always busy with us off the ship or going to talks, going to MUTS etc or working out. He did get a packet but i am not sure what it said. Don't worry your son will have a blast. My son has been on 25 cruises and used to go to the clubs in years prior and had a great time. He should meet other teens his age with no problems. They do seem to find each other on the ship:)
