Deck 2 Serenade of the Seas

Some friends are ready to book a cabin on Deck 2 which is the bottom deck for passengers on Serenade. If I'm correct, I think the crew is below this deck. If that's the case, do you think they might be bothered with noise since crew are early risers? Is that where the laundry is done? Thanks for any input.

There are MANY decks below deck 2....yes, crew is directly below, but noise isn't an issue. Laundry and such are in the bowels of the ship.

Deck 2 is no noisier than any other deck anywhere on the ship.n The only downside to being on a very low deck is needing to use the elevator to go just about anywhere...unless you enjoy climbing 10 flights of stairs!!!

We just booked a cabin on the serenade today on the third floor. I think I read somewhere that the outside cabins on the second floor have small port holes but the third floor outside cabins have regular outside large round Windows. Can anyone confirm this?

We where on deck two on this ship. You are correct about the elevator along with the foul odor on this floor next to the mid ship elevator. Yes you have a port hole for a window. ( small oval window ). I complained to the guest service's and they said they would look into what causing the foul odor, for the entire cruise the odor was still there.
