Tell me about CD Brandon Kovshoff

Sailing on the Dream in November and it was just announced that Brandon Kovshoff will be our CD for our cruise. Has anyone had any experience with him? Can you tell me about him?

Looks like he will be the CD for our January cruise so I would like to know how he is, too!

Brandon is a friend of ours, so this info. may be a tad biased. He is a fairly young, dynamic, fun guy. We first sailed with Brandon when he was a "social host" ,a position now called an entertainment team member, back in 2010 on the Fantasy. We have sailed with him a number of times since. So he has a long history with Carnival. He has been an Assistant Cruise Director for the past few years and recently got promoted to Cruise Director.

 

He has a great singing voice and would often join the band when he was an ACD. We have not yet cruised with him as a CD, that will happen in a few weeks. I would assume that as time permits he will still sing. With his lengthy experience he has worked with a number of CDs and knows the Carnival ropes. In the few cruise reviews that he was mentioned, all the comments were favorable. I think you will enjoy him as a CD.

We had him in May on the Elation. He has a great personality and a great sense of humor, was a great CD in my opinion!

If he's like any of the other CD's I've had on Carnival, he talks too much, he talks too loud, and he reads from the same management approved script. Plus, he'll be waking me up on sea days while I lounge on Lido deck aft
