Hi im here in the UK watching Murder she wrote. Just wondering if any one knows what ship the episode was filmed on. Its the episode was "my johnny lies over the ocean " sorry for the daft question but interested.

It seems to me that the SS Christallino with the banner hanging down in front of where you expect the ship's name to appear is in reality the RMS Queen Mary at Long Beach California. Hotel ship now and a scheduled overnight stopover on many Hawaii fly cruise packages offered in the UK if you want to stay aboard. Do not know how much was actually filmed on board, a lot of these TV programmes on cruise ships like "Loveboat" were also supplemented by on shore filming locations. Cabin size is always a clue.

They also used the queen Mary recently for 'the ship' where they were showing a supposedly Italian cruise line full of people with a virus
