Trai-rail questions from MIA-Port Everglades

I have friends that will be flying into MIA the night before the cruise at 11:05pm. They will most likely find a hotel close to MIA and head to Port Everglades in the morning.

 

Can you offer a suggestion as to what stop they should get off in order to catch a taxi that would be closest to the port?

Both stops Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport Station at Dania Beach and Fort Lauderdale are pretty much the same distance to the Port. 5.9 miles and 5.3 miles down the 95 then 595 to the port.

 

They might as well just get off at the first stop coming from Miami which would be the airport one Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport Station at Dania Beach.
